In the heart of Bethlehem, long ago, a humble boy with a drum stepped into the nativity scene. His gift was a simple, heartfelt rhythm. As he played, the baby Jesus stirred, eyes wide with wonder. The animals—calf, donkey, white doves, and gentle lambs— all gathered around. The Drummer Boy’s music became a lullaby, a celebration of love and innocence.

On the Reverse Side of the ornament is the manger—a sacred space where heaven touched earth. Baby Jesus rests there, swaddled in divine light. The young donkey and calf, guardians of this holy moment, watch over Him. Their eyes hold ancient wisdom, as if they know the weight of the world rests on those tiny shoulders. Stars twinkle above, and the night sky whispers secrets to the newborn King.

Come they told me

Pa rum pum pum pum

A new born king to see

Pa rum pum pum pum

Our finest gifts we bring

Pa rum pum pum pum

To lay before the king

Pa rum pum pum pum,

So to honor him

Pa rum pum pum pum

When we come

Pum pum pum pum

Little baby

Pa rum pum pum pum

I am a poor boy too

Pa rum pum pum pum

I have no gift to bring

Pa rum pum pum pum

That's fit to give our king

Pa rum pum pum pum,

Shall I play for you

Pa rum pum pum pum

Mary nodded

Pa rum pum pum pum

The ox and lamb kept time

Pa rum pum pum pum

I played my drum for him

Pa rum pum pum pum

I played my best for him

Pa rum pum pum pum,

Then he smiled at me

Pa rum pum pum pum

Me and my drum

Come they told me

Pa rum pum pum pum

A new born king to see

Pa rum pum pum pum

Me and my drum

Rum pum pum pum
